As we approach our first visit to Tynedale we have some news to share for anyone that might be planning to make a weekend of it.
On Friday 3rd October it is Hexham races and thanks to Mr Richard Painter's connections the racecard will feature the Heath RUFC A-Safe Handicap Hurdle. A delegation from the club will be in attendance but all are welcome to join us, Mr Brown is currently doing his research on the form guides etc.
Tynedale RUFC have very kindly provided the below information for our supporters:
In recent seasons, we've been delighted to see visitors spending time in the Tyne Valley either side of the game. We're very fortunate to be based in the beautiful village of Corbridge, which makes a brilliant weekend destination. Either side of the 80-minutes, of course, we pride ourselves on being clubs favourite 'away day,' so we are pleased to make the following recommendations:
Accommodation:
The Angel of Corbridge - https://www.theangelofcorbridge.com/
The Wheatsheaf - https://www.facebook.com/thewheatsheafcorbridge / manager.wheatsheaf@gmail.com

The Beaumont in nearby Hexham - https://thebeaumonthexham.co.uk/ - a fantastic Hotel/Restaurant and a close club partner.
Caravans/Mobile Homes
We have space on the club grounds for Caravan and Mobile Homes. Spaces can be booked here:
