Sat 17th. Heath First XV AWAY v Blaydon. Meet, Selection, Directions, etc.

After the extra long lay-off, it's back to League rugby as we travel North, to take on 4th placed Blaydon.

We first played them on the 23rd October 2023 and have now played them 5 times in total - winning all of the encounters.  Link to results and our Match Reports here.

As for our hosts, since they last met us they've only lost 1 match out of 8, beating both Ilkley and Harrogate along the way.  England RFU website summary of Blaydon results, here.

So, this Saturday's game should be an interesting encounter, especially when you factor in the 'plastic' pitch.

1.    Take the M62 (east) / M1 (north)/A1(M) and A1 to Newcastle.

2.    Leave the A1 at the B6317 (Swalwell) exit and at the roundabout go right taking the third exit.

3.    Go straight on through the traffic lights and as the road bends to the right the ground is straight ahead.
