Heath v Magpies - a great night's rugby.

Magpies v Heath Select.

After a day of constant rain, it remained fine for the game v Hx Magpies, at Ovenden Park.

The hosts lead at halftime by two tries to one and in the second half they further increased their lead by two more scores. But the Heath boys got back into the game with three tries of their own.

The encounter ebbed and flowed but the Magpies saw the game out in front.

A big thank you to all the Heath lads that turned out for the game which was, as usual, thoroughly enjoyed by players and spectators alike.

A re-match has been arranged for Weds 6th April. It will be played at Heath, under lights.  Spud will be organising things closer to the time, but if you fancy giving the game a go, give him a shout.  It's a particularly rewarding seeing the enjoyment that the Magpie Players get from playing our wonderful game.
