Strong defence keeps Cleck scoreless

Heath start down the slope.  With two minutes  Logan Hall found space to score. 0-5.

From the first scrum 40m out the pack provided a solid platform for Lennon Wood to put in.  Sonny Gordon dummied, drew a couple of players before unleashing Ethan Murphy to outrun the Brods defence to score.  0-10.

The game was stop start with both teams making too many indiscretions.  Heath found themselves down to 12 players but that did not define them.  Louie Moss arched from right to left gaining 40m before the ball went right to Logan Helliwell-MacDonald to take Heath into a big lead at halftime.  0-15.  The ask at halftime was to keep Cleckheaton from breaking the defensive line in the second half.

The second half was a slog.  More stoppages for further penalties meant for a fairly frustrating game.  Heath kept pressure in Clecks half and managed to stretch their lead to 0-20.  Heath kept true to their halftime chat - the lads defence held strong.  Final score 0-20.
