Can I draw your attention to the fact that the Club has reopened the Local Giving charitable fundraising page - previously it was used to raise money for flood defences; this time it's for very important ground and changing room improvements - initially and specifically for the acquisition of Dug-outs for the Main Pitch.
Here's the full link to our page on the 'Giving' site: https://localgiving.org/charity/heathrugbyclub (direct link) and here's what we say:
Heath Rugby Union Football Club is excited to launch a fundraising campaign to upgrade its pitch facilities and take the match day experience to the next level.
We are planning the introduction of new dug-outs on the clubhouse side, providing players and coaches with a more professional and comfortable environment, while also helping to protect the pitch during games.
We are continually investing in improvements to ensure Heath can provide the best possible facilities for our local community.
Our Treasurer, Si Brown, adds; We’ve had quotes around £10k to cover the units themselves, installing a base and the remedial works to the fence - so all contributions are sincerely welcomed.
As he says, any and all contributions will be much welcomed. Can you help?
