A hardgame and we were only just pipped at the post.

Heath found themselves without a game and arranged a friendly away at bramley phoenix. Heath travelled with 20 players, which is fantastic for a 3rd team, and away too. The game saw Heath hand a debut to Luke Hand and ex Huddersfield giants centre James Bunyan. The first half was played in good sprit with both teams exchanging good healthy blows. The only downside was heath debutant James Bunyan dislocating his shoulder. At half time bramley led 19-12 The second half saw both teams lose players through injury - our Simon Lockwood with concussion, but both teams dug deep to continue playing. Heath thought they had won with only 10 secs remaining - only to fall asleep and see Bramley score a last second try in the corner to break their hearts. Game finished bramley 33 heath 27. Heath scorers where Damien Ball 2 try's Luke Hand 1 try Riz Mughal 1 try Dan Ingham 2 conv and 1 pen Heath can take good heart from this as we can now travel with plenty of players and hold our own. We just need to stay awake for 80 mins not 79.50
