Team: 2nd XV
Status: Current Player

Previous Clubs. Rugby: Old Rishworthians. Football: A serious knee injury against Burnley FC put paid to a football career at Halifax Town and, following a year in Germany, goalkeeper Paddy returned to the UK with Wycombe Wanderers under the management of Martin O'Neill. On Wycombe gaining promotion to the football league, Paddy moved to Marlow FC and was involved during their significant FA cup runs in the mid 1990's before spending a number of seasons at Maidenhead United and Uxbridge FC.

On returning to the north in 2000 he spent two seasons at Ashton United before moving to Liversedge FC in 2001 as club captain, then a brief time at Chorley FC before returning to Liversedge in September 2003. He moved to Ossett Albion in the summer of 2004. He joined Ramsbottom United in 2005 where he later retired from football at the end of the 2005 2006 season.

Following a relocation to Halifax, Paddy was encouraged to join Heath Rugby club by his wife, Sandra, who thought it was time he took up a "proper competitive sport". Sandra is now a regular supporter, amongst the many ladies, watching on the Heath sidelines on match days. Something she was less inclined to do on the football terraces
