FINAL SCORE: Heath RUFC 0 vs Roundhegians Club 39

Despite the Loss, there's plenty to build on.

An overcast morning leading to damp underfoot conditions greeted the under 15’s in their first match of the season against Roundhegians.

On the No.2 pitch in front of the clubhouse Roundhegians kicked off into the wind towards the No.1 pitch and were quickly on the attack.  Working their way into the Heath 22 the home sides defence was quickly put under pressure and after 5 minutes the visitors capitalised and opened the scoring to lead 5-0.

The visitors continued to put the Heath defence under pressure and sped away to a 22-0 lead after 16 minutes without the home side seeing much of the ball themselves.  Heath regrouped with substitute Lewis Dow coming into the 2nd row and were able to put in a good period of both attack and defence up to half time.

Half time saw the return of Nathan Baldwyn into hooker and Heath continue where they left off before half time.  Despite the lack of good ball for the backs the home side had good spells on attack in the opposition half and equally good spells in defence including a try saving tackle by Sam McIntyre in the far corner.

The visitors finally broke free again in the 39th minute to score in the corner and followed up with two further tries before the final whistle.
