Live 'eath came to West Vale again this year - on Sunday 11th July. Gates opened at 12 noon and the first Band stepped on stage to perform at 1.00pm. After that it was music all the way through to close of play at 7.00 pm - just in time for everyone to get home for the World Cup final.
Extra stalls and fairground rides were provided this time around, all adding to the Family Fun Day atmosphere.
Bands appearing were: -
Both Barrells
My Brother Jake
Paddy McCallion
Revenscliffe School
Weed Whackers
Belt of the Celts
Giants Causeway
Remember, all proceeds will be going to good causes - Ravenscliffe School and First Step Trust. Watch this site for news of the final amount raised and the presentation of monies to the school.
Lots of people need thanking for making the day such a success - right from the Bands, Jim Farrell, the Sponsors and through to everyone at Heath RUFC, who gave their time as volunteers to man the gate, bar, food stall, can stall etc, etc. Won't mention them all individually, but a big thank you is well deserved.
