| The weekend of the 6 - 8th August saw the return of the Bridge Rats for this year's bike-fest.
As before, it was a very well organised and marshalled event, with plenty of stalls and entertainment laid on. This ranged from Bands on Friday and Saturday nights (Scarface outstanding) to Falconry displays and "games" in the arena on Saturday afternoon. Remember, profits from the weekend are going to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance this year. From Heath's point of view, we have to say a thank you to Ginny and Margaret for organising the bars and to all the lads and lasses who gave their time on the bars and, indeed, elsewhere - from Thursday night through to Sunday afternoon. It was appreciated. To the Bridge Rats, a good event, well staged and attended. Congrats. |
