Even though the First XV home game v Beverley was cancelled, it was decided to still go ahead with the Ladies' Luncheon.
The Club open at 12.00 noon for a 1.00 pm start and guests picked their way through the still muddy car park to attend.
There was a welcoming glass of Prosecco followed by an excellent 'Three-courser' . Carrot and Corriander Soup, Chicken or Salmon finished of with a sweet of individual Lemon and Blueberry Cake or Gateaux Opera. All very well received.
The Charity Raffle raised £400 or so for Luke Mortimer (see separate News item, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-51062279).
Once that had all settled, there was a 'live' Band at teatime and dancing into the night.
Well organised by Nadine. Thanks to all Heath members who helped out or contributed to the event, in whatever way and thanks to everybody that supported the event and made it such a success.
