After four fantastic seasons at West Vale, cumulating in promotion to North 1 East, forwards' coach Rich Brown has taken the decision to step back.
Rich joined Heath in 2016 as a formidable national league player to take on his first coaching role alongside his former coach and good friend Harry.
His initial impact as a player was immense and his rugby knowledge has seen him develop into a very capable coach.
The forwards have improved immeasurably under Rich’s guidance, and the club would like to thank him for all his hard work and input. We hope he will continue to be an active social member with his family.
Director of Rugby, Harry, added his personal thanks:
“Rich has delivered and had the impact I thought he would when I first brought him on board. His willingness to work extremely hard at his coaching has been born out with the massive improvements the team and the forwards in particular have made. I know he’s going to take a bit of time out to spend with his young family, but I’m sure it won’t be long before he’s back into coaching and will definitely be a massive asset to the club that secures his services.”
